A 9 year old in Oklahoma shot a 41 point buck. It's all downhill from there .  I probably would have fainted if that thing walked out in front of me.

Thanks for the pics, Madcrabber. That thing would have looked good in my crosshairs....It's going to be hard for that 9 year old little dude to top that deer... All the rest of his hunting will probably be all "SCRUB" bucks compared to that one..

I know what you mean. It's nice that he shot a deer but now he is probably  going to   be disappointed in his next buck.I took my son who was 4 last year deer hunting and shot a deer all three time that I took him, well this year I took him and was only trophy hunting and I didn't shoot and he didn't want to go any more because I spoiled him.  :(

The first comment in that thread points out the fence wire.  I'm thinkin' the buck got snagged in the fence and/or wire and the kid plugged him when he was unable to run. Am I wrong?

If a man speaks at sea, where no woman can hear, is he still wrong?

It says the wire had gone missing,so I thought they didn't know what happened to it until he shot the deer. That's the way I read it anyway.

the article i read said this buck was robbing there pea patch and tore the wire fence around it down when it got scared, didnt say wheather he shot it while it was stuck in the fence or not.

Fence or not it's talk of a lifetime, meat in the freezer and $150,000 can buy a lot of wire fence.
