Had a trip planned to my favorite spot near Kennedy Space Center for tomorrow but it's FAY ding away..........How does a weather even such as this effect the crabbing once its past? RD you should know, you deal with this up your way. For some reason I would think they would be turned on post storm, but I'm just guessing. Either way, I won't be wetting any necks tomorrow.

They are going to move out of the fresh rain water, they will find a place that the salinity is comforable to them and settle in for a few days and as the rain water runoff quits they will work their way back

Thanks RD, that makes perfect sense, duh! I knew you would know the facts. I may try it again next Wednesday and that could fit the timing you indicated. I'll post if I make the trip.

I think it's more a case of bunching them up more than they are biteing better.

Heading over tomorrow and see what effect all this rain has had around Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River. Got to take a detour though, SR 46 is close at the St. Johns River  is over the the road, if not the bridge. I'll let you know how I do.
