SC shrimp question

I wanted to get some advise on catching my own shrimp this year.I have never seen this done before and was wondering if i could get some insight.I was told late may early june is prime time.I seen pvc pipes sticking up in the creeks of murrells inlet and was always curios to know how to do it.Any  insight will be much appreciated :thumbsup:

You can only shrimp with poles, bait and cast net by permit during the Fall baiting season. You can use a cast net without bait any time of year. Another option is to use what's known as a drop net or umbrella net. The baited net sits on the bottom, and you pull it up from time to time like a collapsible-basket crab trap.

if you are not eligible for a resident shrimp baiting license, you can buy a lot of shrimp for $  500.00 ... :bandana:
