One reason may be Availability and an other just might be McCormick's Advertising abilities $$$$$$$

Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous. But to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or neglect.

Great job Old Bay. Go get em. Way to go.
Each one of us here today will at one time in our lives look upon a loved one who is in need and ask the same question: We are willing to help, Lord, but what, if anything, is needed? For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so it is those we live with and should know who elude us. But we can still love them - we can love completely without complete understanding.

Growing up, I remember my grandmother had the seasoning pre made.....if I'm not mistaken she had a big glass jar of the seasoning, it was 1/2 Kosher sea Salt and half Old Bay.   So I voted Old Bay but I'm really curious to try the JO#2 since alotta folks are pushing that.   Are the two seasons (JO # 2 and the traditional OB/Salt mix) similar in taste or is there a big difference?

What seasoning do you use when preparing crabs?    If your choice is others, please list the crab seasoning you use.

I seem to be the only one that does not season them. I'm surprised. Crab has such a sweet flavor on its own I don't understand why anyone would want to change the flavor. Maybe its because I eat mine cold? That's just how I was raised. My dad would steam them, clean them, refrigerate them until cold and pick away. I have had them hot with garlic, oil and butter and in sauce, and I have picked at the meat while cleaning them and for some reason the meat when hot does not have the same sweetness as when its cold, maybe that's the reason. Does anyone else eat them cold?

Ok. Newbie dummy question #1...and #2.
What is JO#1 & JO#2.
I have a feeling I will regret asking and will be giving myself a few head slaps later.
The family moved to the Bay over 60 years ago and I don't recall ever hearing of "JO" or whatever it stands for. Is this new?

`Izzat something available only up north? Sorry. Up North?
Down here Old Bay rules and I have seen Zartain....Zartin....that stuff from way down South but not JO's. Are those the first letters or is it actually labeled JO?
I haven't a clue where to look for it.
