Cool, I like this Rutgers site for sea surface temps.  According to the latest the crabs should really be moving.  But you know that already Ron  ;)

Thought this info was kind of cool.

If you weren't aware, there are links on those pages to have reports emailed to you daily (only the tide data will be in the email, you will need to follow the link for temperature). I use the station that is off 6th & the bay in Ocean City, as that is close to my typical activities.

One thing to keep in mind, at least for the one I use, is that there seem to be fluctuations directly related to air temp in near real time, which leads me to suspect that they aren't in very much water at low tide. I also look at the ocean temp at Steel Pier, but that has the opposite issue as it is in 14 or so mean feet of water:
