I am moving to Myrtle Beach Sc on June 1st. I have been reading up on all the rules and regs on crabbing and fishing but i cannot seem to find any info on using a trot line ( other than hook and line ) So my question to those of you who crab those parts is ........... are they legal to use??? If so how long can they be and do i just need a general fishing/crabbing license ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also bringing some rec. sized box traps down. I have only seen rules for the larger commercial size traps ( 2 per person 100' or 300' from shore not sure which one but i am not using them ) so I am pretty sure i am good with the smaller traps. Thanks in advance for the info.
