Hello and thanks, in advance, for your help.
I'm throwing a party for my wife's 40th birthday in Northern New Jersey in a few weeks. As she grew up in Maryland (we're both Terps), at first she suggested a family trip to Ocean City to show me her summertime roots and relive past glories. Then she decided that would be too much of a trip for our family for a birthday weekend. So, I've decided to throw her a good 'ole surprise crab feast instead.
Here's where you come in, bluecrab.info friends. Does anybody know where to score about 4-5 bushels of No. 1/jumbo steamed maryland crabs that my wife would be proud to eat? Anywhere north of Philadelphia would be fine, and since I have guests coming from the Philadelphia area, a quick jaunt down to northeast Maryland would work as well. I just want to be able to ensure great, authentic maryland crab taste and a reliable establishment from which to order.
Thanks for the consideration, and if you're a crabber/fisherman reading this, thanks for your efforts.

Mr. Ray III

I can help you out. I have a Seafood Carryout in Elkton Md a few miles off of I-95. I buy most of my crabs from local Maryland Watermen this time of year.  I steam all of my crabs fresh to order. Let me know if I can help you.  Thanks

Basically yes.  Before we made these changes we had some nasty fights in the crabs for sale section.  Back on top battles.  So Steve decided that our Supporting commercial guys should get preference over some folks that contributed nothing (not even advice).  Those guys would come on the forum just to advertise they would be selling crabs on this corner or that corner, etc.  Or they logged in only to bump their add to the top.

So what about the other POSTED ads for crabs for sale in the Retail section from someone other then supporting members. Plus the lists of other crab retailers. Mind you that my "response" was to a post someone else started and I didn't post my business name, address, phone# ,or prices.

Thanks for agreeing with me tom.

Just donate the $10; you make one new sale and you have made your money back, plus a profit.
