Like Ronster said, So he can catch it later.  Honestly the crab was a little light and I wanted to give others the opportunity to scap a mumbo.  I'm waiting to top my biggest and have it mounted. I love giving tattoo business, but I'm running out of room to display the mounts he's done to date.

I'm submitting another entry for the "2013 Largest Blue Crab Contest".  This large Jimmie was caught in southern NJ on 9/10/13 and measures 8.5" point to point.

Got another (better) measurement photo of that one?   Doesn't appear the point to the left is touching the caliper end.

I'm submitting another entry caught on 9/26/13.  The crab was measured with a Mutzy measurer at 8.5"  This crab is just a bit larger than the last entry caught on 9/10/13.
