SHELLFISH

I've heard that the crabs have finally started to move a bit.
Try crabbing now from NSB to Titusville.
They are still on the small side at about 5 inches but that will change with the next full moons.
Good luck and post reports please!
Hint: If you are out shrimping they move at night with the tide flow.
Retired in paradise!

Glad you did will at H/C with the crabs and a few crickets to boot.

Ya know these migrating crabs are headed to the NS inlet from H/C.  Another couple good spots to try more north without a boat are the North and South pier at on st rd 44. These 2 bridges have docks and cat walks. The dock next to the north bridge is very popular this time of year for crab; Problem is space. The crabs will run on the outgoing tide and and can be caught with drop nets and dip nets. They do very well and even catch limits at this bridge. The south 44 bride cat walk has lots of current and is a dip only area. However the docks along the sea wall can be used for drop traps..

Good luck....

Sorry I have no reports of my own for 2 weeks. Work is killing me with to much overtime...

  :behead:

Got to go to Know, another jumbo just swam under the boat...

Thanks for the report Moonshine. I will try them out. Is this day time or night time?

Night time is best at these areas on outgoing tides.  Sorry I forgot to say that in my reply above; I am such a night guy I forget sometimes to say it. Both places can have crabs in the daytime also using the drop traps. But migrating crabs around these parts move best after dark. July is the last best month for this action...
