Hi Ill b moving to the melborne area and was looking for some tips on the most effective way to crab the area. I have been crabbing MD NJ many many times and have topless traps trot line hand lines [will buy commercial style if needed] and my own boat. Not looking for your favorite honey hole just a idea of what works and general areas to try if possible? Thanks in advance!!!

The good news is you only need a fishing license for crabs!
You are allowed two five gallon pails full per day.
No minimum size but no eggers. They must be released.
No winders are allowed for your trot line. They are restricted for use by commercials only.
Crab the way you would in MD or NJ. That's what I do.
Good luck and please post reports.
Retired in paradise!
