Sanibel / Captiva Spots?

I'm a recreational crabber and will be visiting Sanibel / Captiva later this month. I don't have a kayak or canoe, but may look into renting or acquiring one while I'm down there. Does anyone have any good tips on where to set up? I have just one pot and was thinking I'd check on it once or twice a day... Thanks for an information or advice!
