First doe of the year

Took all of 10 mins leaving my house to put some loins on the grill and some meat in the fridge. Didnt even get to climb a tree. Picked out my tree and looked 25 yds away and a doe was feeding on acorns. Got my stand and backpack off to get my release out. Slipped it on, nocked an arrow and after a 10 minute staredown I sizzled a rage through her. Went 50 yards and died in the corn. Game over.

The guy I hunt with shot a really nice buck. Dressed out at 202 pound!

He shot him at a different property but that property is only maybe 400 yards from my stand. I hope to get one soon.
