I am a crabber and a scuba diver. I dive for fossils in Georgia and South Carolina. Can anyone tell me places where they have seen dive boats or even better maybe found a fossil in the trap. If you found something in the pot it could be an unknown spot and worth a several hundred dollar reward so please let me know.

How would a fossil get into a trap?

Maybe it's a ghost pot, and the crab was in there for a really loooooooooong time.
