I am in the process of moving to West Palm Beach FL.  Anyone have any ideas or direction where I can catch some crabs in the area?

On a side note:  I am moving from the Jacksonville area (NE Florida), if anyone is looking for a good spot for the upcoming months - take a look at Guana Park, just southeast of Jax.  Thanks everyone!  ;D

I am sorry to inform you that your crabbing days are over...... :'(
I lived in WPB from 86 to 03 and have been everywere looking for them. Not one. Some people say the Indian River but thats a bit of a drive north. I now live in Tampa since 03 and although I dont catch them like I did as a kid growing up on the Chesapeake Bay,  I have found a place just to the north that I can come home with a couple dozen with a long days work. I am boatless so that is with the little traps we chuck over the pier. Sorry. If you do find a place please let me know I would love to visit and take my dad crabbing again.

I live just north of you in Port St. Lucie. I went out crabbing last night and didn't catch anything.

I'm only about 45 minutes north of you if you ever want to make the trip.

I lived down there for six years.  Never caught any crabs.  But at least you can catch other tasty crustaceans,  lobsters and even stone crabs every now and then.  Theres lots of places you can swim right off the beach and net a couple bugs.
Good luck.

I have found a few good spots near me if you want to make the trip.
