Is a permit needed to raise crabs if its done inland, in a closed circuit aquarium, with no drainage of water into the sewer?

Does it make sense to just put all crabs you catch in a separated tank and just wait and watch for them to shed, or does it only make sense to pick out the ones that are getting ready?

what do you feed them, and in what size, how often, and how do you make sure the food doesnt drift away?

i was thinking of setting up several stacked tables of just any male crabs, about 1000-2000, i have room and resources for about as much. so i think.

Any help/tips/ and PRICES i should expect, i'd like to hear anything from first hand experience.

Wow no one replied well I dunno about your local laws but as for the crabs separate the ripe (red line crabs) from the green crabs (black line crabs ) the green crabs will still eat so if they see a buster its lunch I wouldn't recommend feeding these crabs at all ripe crabs shouldn't eat anyway and the green crabs will eat they don't need to they will or should shed within a week or so if the temperature is right keep the tanks clean and just separate them as stated above
