Soft shells would depend on the size and freshness your selling.

Regarding peelers, paying between 1 and 1.50 each, legal size

1.00 for peel here. Buster usually 1.50 per. Softies I'll sell for 3-3.50 to folks off the dock. They tend to not last past the dock because its better than paying $6 at the nearest fish market.
Making the saying "I have crabs" a pick up line one soft shell at a time.

I'd give them away but my wife won't let me.... :(

Neither Crab

I bought some yesterday from a friend that sluffs them. 7-7.25 in. tip to tip softies( biggest I've seen) for $40 dz. The run is pretty much over. One is all I could eat. They are like eating a steak. 1 in. to 1.5 in thick in the body, you can put the claws on a hot dog roll .  I'm going to freeze them up today. I'm thinking of freezing them without  cleaning them first. I think that would hold the juices in better and keep them from drying out.

ChrisS

put them in a zip lock and fill with water and freeze them. Keeps em pretty fresh for a while
