I lost my hunting ground last year, due to development....I am looking for a place here on the shore (MD) to rent for this year. If anyone knows of a good opening, please contact me. Thanks!

we might have an opening on a lease we have decent goose and tons of snows when you can get them to come in. Its over near tuckahoe so sometimes its hard to pull them form going there. anyway I will know alot more a month or so before the season. There is only 6 of us on the lease and usually only me and one other guy there the rest of the guys have a few other leases that they say are more productive and they just keep this one to have. like 350.00 each 150 acres
I now have a list.

I have hunted those geese before.....down on the  Cherry Lane side.....Killed a few there last year.....they are tough and mostly resident birds! I have slayed them their early....I have a 12 dozen rig....only 2 of them are full body's, the rest shells.......My group that I hunt with killed over 180 last year...and I called all but a few inn.
You must be over by the Dean farm? Keep me in mind!

less than 6 ducks. but I kind of lost my duck spot last year funny story but too long to tell here well its funny now anyway. I got a few minutes Ill tell it.

5 years ago I worked for a company called merciers in hanover md. He owned a piece of property that butted up to BWI property we had hunted the flooded timber there for 4 years. the 5 th (last year not last season) year we were hunting in the morning there for about 4 hours and it started getting a little slow. we heard some movement on the edges of the swamp then all we hear is several people yell PUT THE GUNS ON THE GROUND AND HANDS IN THE AIR. turns out that craig had sold the piece of property to BWI and forgotten to inform me. so anyway they had 16 airport "swat" people looking for us in the 40 acres we were hunting for 4 hours. Good bunch of guys we got toted off to airport jail got a without permission ticket and even got to keep our guns and ducks. no charges from the airport which was cool. The two guys that I took hunting are both locksmiths and heve never ever been in trouble before I mean ever. so when you see 8-10 guys with mp5's point at you in the woods I know the about crapped themselves but it was even better when we got to airport jail when one of them was sobbing uncontrolably because he thought he would go to jail for 5 years. looking back it was not funny at the time but it is funny now. I felt so bad for the guys looking for us in the swamp because they came in through the deep end in dec with no waders or anything just walking. Oh well live and learn.
I now have a list.

I have a few friends that get all paranoid when they see dnr......I am like man, calm down...... they can't eat you!

Yeah that could have been a lot worse,in Fl. they can charge you with armed tresspassing a felony............most of the ducks were mallards but we did have 3 Canvasback drakes come in the rice fields. Not often you see divers in there. I'm holding a lesser Canadian and a imature Snow. We also got a couples of Speckelbellys
