Looks to be picking up

In the last week I have taken down 2 deer. A medium sized doe and small one. My parents wanted a deer so I gave then the med sized one and I had a friend request a small deer. I have been seeing a lot more deer in the last week or 2. But last night I had a spike and 2 smaller ones come in and I took one of the smaller ones. I recieved a new bow from my wife as an early bday Christmas gift. But i have missed 3 deer, shot a doe at 10 yards with the arrow penetrating 1/3 of the arrow and shot a buck at 35 yards and the same type of arrow only penetrated an inch. When I shoot my field points they shoot straight. Dont have time to get new arrow heads and practce. So I picked up my crossbow again and took 2 down. I also think I found out something. I have been keeping corn in my truck and they started spouting and even a little moldy. But the deer destroyed the corn. I put out more corn and they ate that as well but after putting the 2 batch of new corn they did not touch it that much. I think they really like the corn when it is sprouting.
