Its been warm as heck here.  Only have been to camp 1 time this year and that was last week.  This past summer we had a severe drought which put a hurting on the acorn crop.  Rifle season opens Saturday 11/21.  Leaving tomorrow to do a few days of bow hunting before I pick up the riffle.  I'll be back 11/25.  Hopefully I'll have a few stories to tell.

Good luck everyone,  Ronnie

Good luck Ron. Im in the stand right now. Jumped a fawn on the way in and had a doe run across the field.  Did not see anything following her. Hope you shoot a big one. Be safe.

Our rifle season opens 11/30, heading to camp on Sunday. Not likely to have snow next week.

Better get him butchered up soon Ronnie, it was 91 degrees here yesterday. Don't want him to spoil!
BTW, hope all went well with the wedding, congrats on the new daughter-in-law!

Congrats Ronnie

Good luck Bruce.

We will be out on Saturday, but then again, nothing new since we have been at it since Sept.   ;)  4 in the freezer already and looking for a few more to finish the year out.

Ron, what gun are you using?  That looks like a Winchester 1894 on the ground.

I could'a plugged a big doe yesterday with my Glock.  ;D  Must'a been down wind cause she walked right up to me.

Ron good job on the deer but did you shoot him in the head?  :o  My year has been really slow. Shot a buck but the arrow must have hit his shoulder. Found the arrow and only went in about half an inch and the broadhead did not deploy. Only some fur on the arrow head. Good luck everyone.

mid 70's this week.  Wedding went great except for the weather.  Rained all day.  They have been together for 4 years now.  The wedding just made it official.  I gave them anniversary present instead of a wedding present.

Glad to see you made it home safely.
