St. Johns County Crabbin'-Still going on 11-24-15 w/pics

Water is starting to get cold but the crabs are still eating. Caught more in this haul than ever before. Crazy. Most were 5-6 inch but about a dozen were around 6-7 and I had 4 or five that were a full 8 inches. Picture below for proof

My son's birthday is coming up and I told him I would make him a crab "cake" so big he couldn't eat it. I think I will be able to do that. Hope everyone has a happy T-day and happy crabbing.

Thanks for the report and pictures. Very nice! The crabbing has all but stopped by me. You can get an occasional Stone Crab but that's about it! All the Blue Crabs I get all year are only 5 to 6.5 inches and nothing bigger. An 8 inch crab is unheard of here! They get that big in Lake George.

Just a suggestion. Here south of you I have shortened my buoy lines to 4 feet!
