Trap Buoy Color and Pots per Dock

When using collapsible traps does the buoy/marker have to be a certain color?  I know pots have to be pink.

Is the number of pots from your dock (no license) = ONE total, or is it ONE per person in the household?

For as RCGL the buoy MUST be hot pink and with boat number and or name etc on it. Only 5 allowed either by boat or dock. However: "Individuals do not need a license to use collapsible crab traps so long as the largest open
dimension is no larger than 18 inches and the traps are designed to collapse at all times when in
the water, except when they are being retrieved from or lowered to the bottom. Recreational
harvest limits apply. Sale of catch is prohibited."
I assume you could just get away with a pool noodle for a float. Doesn't clearly state, besides you'll be fishing (pulling them) right back 10-15min right after dropping. Oh and yes 1 pot per person from private pier or shore. So ideally to make it worth your time, gather your neighborhood kids over lol

are you catching anything yet? Been rather dismal year thus far. Made mistake not going to outer banks in March like last year....they killed the crabs over there. This year I have moved pots so many times it's unreal. Anyway, pretty males should be showing up real soon up river this week unless we get more rain.
