Does anyone know which place is better to crab? Is this time of the year a good time to crab here? In the past we tried to crab over in Titusville, but had no luck. Any suggestions on where and when is best to go? We are kind of frustrated with crabbing in FL because we always used to catch alot of crabs in NJ. We just want to catch some crabs. Thanks!

Just got back from Tomoka. Caught about 3 dozen crabs. YEAH! Could only keep six, but they were delicious! There were alot of small crabs, so hopefully in the next weeks they will be big. We were out there from 11:30-6:30 PM. We had six traps out there. ;D

I talked to a friend in Cocoa and he said that they are not catching a lot yet. you may want to try Lake George, if you do and catch some take a pic. or two and post it so these guys can see what a real blue crab looks like

Becky, I will be in Daytona June 2-12 and am going over to Tomoka to try my first time at crabbing.  Can't wait.  I may try sunglow pier and under the bridge at dunlawton in Daytona too.  How do you like to cook yours?
Thanks,
Bonnie

Boil water, put Old Bay Seasoning in the water, dump crabs in, cook 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!
