Man yesterday was slow. Jumped a deer walking to the stand. Had one walk by me when I was setting up in the dark. Then saw a doe around 80 yards away around 8am. Then nothing until when it was 5 min left of shooting light. Had a spike chasing a doe under my stand. They left and I stayed in the stand for a little bit longer then got down. At least I saw a buck chasing a doe. Just not the buck I was looking for. I hope the action picks up and I get a chance to hunt a few more times. Good luck everyone.

It will pick up this week just before and once the wind settles after this cold front coming in.

I will be in DE fishing this Saturday. Cant wait to fish but wish I was in the stand also. Im hoping i will have a few days next week to hunt during the week. I will be in the stand on the 19th for sure.

still at least 2 weeks out before I can cock my crossbow. Looks like I won't be making the Thanksgiving hunt this year but should be ready for our bucks only hunt late December to beginning of January.

Temps finally getting back to near normal 50's at night 70's during the day. Strong East and Northeast winds are causing 3'+ above normal tides. Can't wait till the winds and the water fall so I can do some more rehabbing.

I might be able to hunt Friday morning. I might have the day off so I can go to the beach to fish friday. So thinking of going hunting in the morning.

Nice buck! I was out FRI.&SAT. but no deer, I am new to DE and only get to hunt state WMAs. I'm taking a break today and will try some more this week and also try some crabbing mid-late week. This retired life is great!

Out on Saturday with tons of movement. Wife is heading out this morning. Looking for one of the boys. This spot has been unbelievable. Tons of fighting. Also have a cam in this spot that is catching videos. Cant wait to pull the card.

Quoting myself here with an update, put 2 pots out on Wed. morn., shot a nice doe Thur. morn., heading out with some traps and necks in an hour or two and will pull the pots. Like I said retired life is great.
