Mr. Bills Terrace Inn

 My wife and myself went to Mr Bill's Terrace Inn at 200 Eastern Blvd Essex for crabs for my b-day on sat.3/11/17. I had heard good things about this crab place on this site and by word of mouth and it was a great place. The crabs were very big and very heavy, so hard the claws were hard to break with a knife and hammer. The crab seasoning which is different then most has a taste hard to explain but very good. They sell the seasoning in 2 lb. containers and i did but 1 and will use it to dip my crabs in this upcoming season. Steve is the owner and he has been the since 1973, his father ,Mr Bill opened the place in the 50s or 60s. It was my first time there but won't be my last and Steve treated me and my wife like he knew us all his life, what a great host.

I've drove by that place many times when I lived in Dundalk, have family in Essex. Have heard nothing but good things and also heard several well known guys on the Orioles ate there often in the past. Boog Powell was one name mentioned.

Chris, If we get down there again before the season starts i'll let you know ahead of time, Steve didn't have alot of crabs to work with, he could only get 1 box from Texas which he said was about 3 1/2 doz the wife and i split 1/2 dozen jumbos. The guy treated me like we were best friends, no one else in the dining room had crabs but us.
