Please be sure to post a clear photo with both sides of the points shown clearly with the measurement.    Crabs must be alive in the photo.

Shouldn't there be a way to do, as the title states, "Photos for Best Crab", and not clutter the thread with comments. Now, don't get me wrong here as the comments are well deserving and pleasant to read, but as in the years past, you couldn't get a good comparison between crabs with out scrolling through congratulatory comments and replies.

Like I said, not trying to start controversy or anything, but I think it would be nice to have all entries together, in one location. It would also be a good, easy way, to have a time stamp. If someone posted an 8" beauty in June, and another caught an 8" beauty in Aug., They would know, right away, if they have a contender, or a wonderful memory and good dinner.

Maybe the "Mods" could control a locked thread and post them, in order there. Just a thought.

Any other thoughts?

I like the fact that a photo spurs conversation about the crabs caught once they are posted.

Longest post yet!  LOL

Yeah, yeah, just photos of big crabs.  The ultimate crab porn site is what you have in mind Ron!

Was just thinking that THIS thread could and should remain, showing comments and congratulatory remarks, but it would be nice to see all the contenders together in order in a locked thread, as Moose says, "The ultimate crab porn site". I guess all the Mods are being over worked with the site, as it is, and adding another task for them might be too much added stress and labor.  ;D ;D

I'll go back to my corner and "Shut Up and Sit Down"

Sorry, but I think moving the photos and conversation about the photos into different threads would stunt the discussion about the crabs posted.

Each one of us here today will at one time in our lives look upon a loved one who is in need and ask the same question: We are willing to help, Lord, but what, if anything, is needed? For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so it is those we live with and should know who elude us. But we can still love them - we can love completely without complete understanding.
