Rhode Island Crabbing Rules & Regs - Out of State

I'm going to be spending a few weeks in RI in late summer (Narragansett area)and was wondering if there's crabbing in the area and what the reg's are. Thanks

You probably don't want to hear this , BUT, unless you permanently reside in RI you can not crab there.  I don't understand it but to my knowledge it has always been the case. I think our global moderator, Ron said he owned property there but he can't crab there either

Yep.  King Crab is correct.  RI state law (section 20-7-15) restricts taking of blue crabs to RI residents only.  Sorry.
