Crab & shellfish in S.Florida

Many in the south Florida area are talking about crabs & shellfish have been exposed to and  contain levels of the green bacteria harmful to humans but are still being sold without proper health inspections has anyone heard of or been exposed to infected crab or shellfish

Why? Just because you say so. I'm sure there are a lot of people who feel the same way you do about romaine lettuce, and Dewalt drills.

SHELLFISH

I live just south of Daytona and we  have had no advisories here and the red tide has not made it here.
Just south of us by Melbourne is probably where you are talking about . They had the red tide hit them and there were advisories!

Yea Walyco We were done south Florida last month and ate a lot of stone crab claws that's why.

Only crabmeat from Venezuela is dangerous, LOL. But it's also cheaper then local crameat. Never heard of anyone dying from it though.  I do know of cases where local folks get sick from eating seafood from local restaurants.
I was at Singer Island last week, never bothered to inquire about crabs there. Lot of fish though, Sailfish Marina has some great looking food there. Good time in Florida.
