I caught three dozen crabs yesterday to bring to a party today. I steamed them yesterday for 25 mins after bringing the pot to a steam. However, the pot was stuffed to the top when I put the crabs in but I was able to get the lid closed. When they were done, I ate a couple which were good, but when I pulled all of the rest out, there were a few near the bottom that still had some signs of green on the shell.
I had planned to reheat the crabs for the party by re steaming them to heat them up.
My question is, is it safe to reheat the crabs that had some green on the shell to finish cooking them the next day?
