Will be in DC area 10/19 - 10/20 --- Looking for a great crabhouse

Hi all! I will be in the DC area on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday 10/20

so far I have been advised to visit:

Mike's in Annapolis
Fat Boy's in Crofton
Crazy Crab in Fairfax

I must visit a crabhouse while in the area LOL, so any suggestions will be much appreciated!

What ever one you choose make sure you call and ask if they are selling True Maryland Blue Crabs if you are really looking for Maryland crabs. A lot of crab houses sell out of state crabs. Not to mention the local waterman would appreciate it.

cantler's and Harris is where i tell people from out of the area to go to, a little more specific on your location while here would make recommendations easier

Cantler's in Annapolis, MD. Located on the river, during the fall time, leaves will be turning, you will not be dis-appointed. I promise.

ended up at Mike's in Riva

food was delicious

they were out of Jumbo 1s, so I got Large, $32/half dz

Pricey being I'm from FL, but food was delicious, would definitely go again.

Didn't ask where they got their crabs from LOL!

but they were using Old Bay (out of JO #2 on that particular day)

that place is way to high priced for what they serve, but their still in business,,,
