Where near the James River and Williamsburg would be good crabbing?

My family is going down fishing this weekend on the James River, close to the Williamsburg area. We were wondering if there are any places close by to be able to go crabbing? Something where an 11 year old could go to do too (crabbing wise), so he can be a full part of the experience too.

You might try the Chickahominy waterfront park.  Close by and plenty of crabs in that area.
