Rehoboth Bay July 18-21st trotline help

Got a wet slip in Dewey for a couple of days and want to put a bunch of newbies on some crab.  Would like to set up with out getting tangled up in pots.  Thinking about running across the mouth of Love Creek or maybe parallel to the Delaware Seashore State Park in 4 ft.  I normally crab the Bohemia River in Maryland and have never had the boat in Delaware waters.  Any advice would be well received and I will only be crabbing a couple of midweek days before I return to the Bohemia.
