This is my first post this summer. Waiting for something good to report..sigh. Actually my first trip to the shallow cove I always crab in was great. The big females were there and I left with three dozen. Looks Like I  should have started a 2-3 weeks earlier. Things then went progressively down hill after that. I crabbed that spot late last week and only caught 3. I left my enclosed trap soaking over night. The next morning there were only two smallish crabs in it. The dock at Sisters Creek in Jacksonville has beee productive in the past. I have caught one crab there this entire season. I did find an abandoned, shallow, concrete, barnicalled boat ramp that has been reliable. I have been getting getting 4-5 keepers there each time I go. I hear it has been slow going down south of here as well. Keep the faith. If not this summer then next spring.

Thanks for the report and glad to hear you got some!
I am just south of Daytona and it's slow going down here!
The commercial guys have left the area and I heard they were heading north to the Jacksonville and St Johns area.
Retired in paradise!
