I've got my Md individual license and  my boat sticker...BUT, I see no extra etc with the boat sticker as far as crab numbers...I never get a full basket usually anyway, but??...What is the advantage to have a boat sticker...I may be missing something, but???

In my opinion, it makes it a little smoother when DNR pulls up. Other than that, the extra $5 really gets you nothing more than the regular license does, unless an unlicensed crabber is using your boat while you are not aboard it. Then that crabber would be allowed a full bushel. This is never the case on my boat, I am always on it, but I get the stickers anyway.
