I had a short window to crab near the afternoon high tide.  Crabbed about halfway up the creek on the last of the incoming tide.  Water temp was about 68, I set 15 topless traps in 6-9 feet of water.  The water was very dirty with a LOT of reeds floating and hanging up on the floats. A little slower than previous trips but kept 13 in about an hour and a half of crabbing.  Mixed quality, but some really full and some really nice size.  I was very happy with the outcome of a last minute trip.  As usual, I did not see another single person in the creek and no other trailers in the yard.
You can see from the pics that the points on these crabs were surprisingly long for Delaware.  As my daughter would say - their point game is very strong!
I love fall crabbing.

Nice catch. Thanks for the report. The size has been surprisingly nice this year.
