You too. How long does it take everybody to finally start writing it correctly? The '22 instead of the '21?

Way longer than it should (at least for me!)

Happy New Year, Everyone!

My wish for everyone in the new year is peace and for our lives to get back to normal.  I have lost many who were dear to me over the past year or so. Losing Adam at the end was like losing a blood brother for me.  It will feel strange to go out crabbing and fishing in the places we used to go together.  But in a way I think it will honor his memory to keep using the knowledge, and skills I learned from him to continue doing what he was passionate about.  His enthusiasm for it was infectious. I have met many forum members through him.  I look forward to meeting many more in the coming years.  I look forward to hearing all of your stories about my friend and the way he touched your lives. As I said in my post about Adam in the Memoriam section, the forum is like a family for us.  We have a passion that not everyone understands or appreciate.  But on the forum we find that kindred spirit.  It doesn't matter if you use a $50.000 boat, a kayak or a handline, we all get it!

So here's to 2022
May your gear always work properly
May your bait never run out
May your baskets always get filled
And may you always return safely home.
