What is recommended light color to trot line with? Running trot line at O dark thirty what color will make crab visible without spooking them? Was thinking UV blacklight. Anyone have any thoughts or experience?

i use a basic floodlight with little to no problems. i think a black light is over thinks it.

I'm with Steve. Just don't shine the brightest part of the light directly on line.
