Anyone been out yet at all?

Just as the title says. Anyone been out trying to catch crab or is the temp still too cold. Gonna be a warm weekend this weekend so im thinking about going out then but was curious what anyone else's experience has been like this season so far.

I’ve already gone out a week ago because I was bored to death go nothing not even a short  water too cold especially from shore. Kingcrab 48 will be out soon I’m sure lol

I will probably venture out in the next week or so if the water temps rise another 5-8 degrees. The crabbing itch is building.

Considering how crazy gas prices are going to be this  year I think I am going to wait until Mid June before I even consider hitting the water.
Yep and considering the bird flu as well drums are not going to be cheap as well so I want to make sure I bring home at least a meal

I caught a keeper striper last week and threw the rack in the river. Nothing has touched it in a week…

  Water still a bit too cold, A weeks worth of 70's ,,Without the Wind machine around might just do it !!

I can't wait either... but it still seems too cold out on the Cape so far... I'm thinking sadly another 3-4 weeks until it's warming up out there.

sadly another cold wet spring will slow things down. from what i was told crabs dont really feed until water temp 57 . they will be here sooner than later if weather holds

Went clamming down the street from  my crabbing spot and even though the water was cold, I did see so blue shell activity! Not big but at least something is stirring !

yeah they're about 52 right now as i type this and its looking like a decent warm streak in weather for the next 7 days or so so next week could be a good time to try.
