crabbing license with 365 Bay & Coastal Fishing Boat

Trying to get some clarification here.  If I purchase the 365 Bay & Coastal Fishing Boat license, can I purchase the recreational crabbing for $2 more to crab off my boat and by topless nets on docks and bridges?

Or do I need to purchase the 365 Recreational Crabbing Boat license as well?

nvm, I can't read.  I just need the boat one, crabbing is covered under it.

Never heard it called a "365"...    Covers crabbing for everybody on boat as long as you are on boat with them. (They are considered your "assistant" crabbers. If you're not on boat they can fish without you but they can't crab.  Does not cover fishing in non-tidal waters.

​Consolidated Chesapeake Bay & Coastal Sport Boat License allows everyone on board a vessel used for pleasure to fish in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries and the state waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Atlantic coastal bays and tributaries in lieu of individual licenses. However, these individuals must register with the Department (see below). A special complimentary Bay & Coastal sport fishing license, which includes recreational crabbing, will be issued to the boat owner purchasing this license. The $50 Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing Decal is NOT valid as a Recreational Crabbing Boat License (though the purchaser of this decal is given one complimentary individual recreational crabbing license).

Hello I crab with sport bay license for years and been check many times the sport /bay does allow you crab and I'm out of state PA. so you may want to check again good luck this year and stay safe CMJ
