CT Trotline and limit rules

Hello to all of you CT folks out there. My sister just moved to CT and I thought I would test the near by crabbing waters some time when I visit.

First on the to do list was to check out the DEEP website and see what the licensing was like for out of state folks. Lo and behold, no crabbing licensing required for anyone. Well alright, sounds good to me. Next, I looked up the current blue crab catch regulations and could only find this blue crab fact sheet-

No Chesapeake style pots, no problem, I would be running a trotline anyway. 5" males for keepers, easy, makes sense.
So what about limits? How many crabs are allowed? How many trotlines can you run per person? How long is an individual trotline is permitted to be? Buoy sizes? Distance between others gear? Time of day restrictions? Day of the week restrictions?

None of this stuff is addressed in this tiny 2 page fact sheet. Maybe CT is super laid back, but I'm coming from MD and let me tell you, DNR down here does not play when it comes to the rules, and they have them A PLENTY.

Am I missing something? I will probably still touch base with DEEP if I can get someone on the phone before I come up so I know to bring the right gear.

Any local information would be appreciated.

Just saw this. CT. is pretty laid back on Blue Crab regs.  The only thing they seem to regulate is leaving traps unattended in the water(like lobster type traps ).  No one much uses trot lines around here ,and the need for those is not needed.   Enjoy!!
