Started with 2 hours left in the ebb, got about 8 jimmies. At dead low and the first 1/2 hour of the flood,
very little action. Sad

When the tide picked up it was a 1 hour circus of non-stop eels, turtles, snappers/perch?, and 6 inch crabs  Shocked
The crabs had their August swag on, coming in at the surface upside down, doubles, fighting off eel hits, hitting moving bait,
and yes, jumping out of the basket  Roll Eyes Frantic crabbing  Cool

Finished with 38 in under 4 hours, from 5 to 6 5/8 inches. Only 5 under 5 1/2 inches.  Cheesy
The only downside was moving 5 miles in 90 minutes on I-95 work zones. Huh Took 3 hours to get home. Worth it? Absolutely.

Fantastic. Enjoy. From what I'm told. There are crab all over from Stamford to Norwalk. It's on. And should go down as a great season.
