Caught just shy of 4 dozen on trotline with chicken necks. Had the first two bushels by 7:30, last two by noon. 4-9 foot of water. Mostly huge crabs. 17 keepers on the first pass.

Whoaaaaa! Great job, but I'm confused by your post. You said shy of four dozen, then 2 bushels. Did you mean 2 dozen?  That's a hefty bushel of nice #1s. Amazing, I think I'll pull my boat back up here form Chincoteague...crabbing's much better in DE. Congrats!

Congrats on your catch! I haven't tried the northern Delaware waters yet but would like to after seeing the last couple of reports. I've heard Woodland Beach is also good. Were you in the river or the bay, trotline or traps?
