900 ft chicken rope. 10 to 17. Deeper than I wanted to set up but it worked. Late start 10:00 to1:00. About 3/4 of a basket.

Good report...just got on the forum for the first time in a long time. Are you running your trot line in line with the current, or across the current? No mater, I'm about to bail on my traps and go to a trot line again. Hate sitting around baiting for an hour.

With the current. Usually I run in whatever direction that doesn’t cast a shadow on the line but the waters not clear enough for that to make a difference in the Delaware IMO. I usually crab the Chester.

I hear you with the shadow and water clarity thing. Same with traps...I'm sure the crabs see the boat shadows in clear or skinny water and scadaddle.
