Lines in: 8:15am
Lines out 12:30pm
1 x 300' baited with necks
Tide: Incoming
Water Temp: 60f
Depth: 6' - 8'

I thought I was done for the year as I had used all the bait in the freezer and I didn't want to buy a case with two weeks left in the season.  Temperatures stayed reasonable for the last week or so and I went to the ramp and noticed the comms still had pots in the river. I bought enough bait for one line and decided to go on the last day of the season.  I also heard there were trout in the river so I could make a combo trip. Ended up with 38 mixed and a lot of undersize trout.

Never found them.. Same time last year they seemed to be everywhere and good size. Had visions of loading up this year... Just checked my notes and we were seeing shrimp on the flats well into November last year, redfish too...  Undecided

You ever get into them?

After hurricane Ian flooded the marshes they disappeared pretty quick, went three different times after the middle of October and got three shrimp one time and zero the next two times.  This was my first year trying for them, plan on hitting them pretty hard next August and September.
