Went to Shrewsbury Bay on Saturday night. Scooped up more then a bushel of these tasty critters. All of them were over 5 1/2 inches, with most being over 6. Me and my buddy just scooping up blue claw gold. I'll never buy bait again.

Nice job night dipping!

Since someone ate crabs, others must have eaten spiders as well.  However, they were not tasty.
So afterwards, people stopped eating them.   These people deserve our heartfelt gratitude  Smiley

Any it's a great catch!

Jckass nice size crabs i used to scoop them under oceanic bridge all the time .Another great spot was renting boats from Petersons marina in the 80s the guy would say no bait no traps or droplines how did you guys get 2 bushels scooping them under the bridge and walking in the shallow water with a partner and scooping them. I never went at night with lights they used to do a contest in the navesink every year at night with boats and spot lights. Great job no matter when they were caught.
