Ya need to ask genecrabman he's sorta in that area. I believe they still catching crabs in good numbers commercially thou. As far as rec fishing not sure but ask him as he is a comm.

lots of crabs all around coinjock,it's a nice cental location .North river  has lots of crabs as well does currituck sound.Pretty much all commercial potters in the area but they are all nice guy's and will help you in any way, I'm sure..I usally crab up there in the spring,always good around the end of May through Oct. Thanks for the info. Looking at soundfront property. The way I understand it the limit is 100 per day? Like the obx area but don't like the traffic. Coinjock seems to be a good compromise and a closer to the dc area. Thanks again Smiley Smiley
