I usually just get my NR crabbing license b/c I only ever make it down a few times a year to enjoy a few bushel of "your" crabs lol.  Sometimes I would like to throw a fishing line in and do some fishing but never have gotten a license.  For fishing in the Chesapeake prob while taking a break from crabbing what kind of license do I need?  Is there a combo type deal where I can get the boat licensed and me and my boating buddies be able to fish and crab.  Appreciatea ny help on the fishing license part of it.

Pinchy, not sure if a non-resident can buy it, but the $40 consolidated bay sport boat will do the trick for fishing and crabbing.  Call a service center, they'lle be able to tell you if you can buy it and give you the details.  Here's the link to the service centers

Pinchy:

Consolidated Bay Sport Boat License: $40.00 Allows everyone onboard a boat used for pleasure to recreationally fish and crab in the Chesapeake Bay and itís tributaries. Also allows the boat owner named on the license to recreationally fish and crab from locations other than the boat.

You can order it online at:
