Did anyone catch the news article about Maryland's new governor easing the tight regulations on crabbing?

I dunno about this. The new gubnor says decisions like this should be based on science...we'll see how it works out.

I have not yet seen the MDNR pre-season crabbing forcast. The department conducts a sampling winter dredging to gauge the upcoming season. Heard it may be delayed this year due to ice conditions.
