Mmm Crabs!

« on: July 22, 2007, 02:23:26 AM »

Very serious question. I'm an obvious New Yorker, so we have no problem purchasing beer whenever the [Sam Hill] we feel like it. HOWever, I have lived in both Texas & Virginia for the last few years, so I know that not all states are as lax as the NY one...

Can I purchase beer in NJ on Sunday? Thank you!

A hearty (hic) yes (blub blub). Don't drink and drive in NJ, the state police are everywhere. Get caught and you will disappear without a trace. And where you're going, there's no beer.

No worries...

We didn't drink really any beer at all. Too hot on the river. Besides the only thing I was really thirsty for was crabs.

Besides, I know the law...I'm future FBI - and the sister of one of NY's Finest. Smiley

It's NEVER too hot for beer!  Or did you mean the beer got too hot? Smiley
Good place to work, the FBI: looks great on the resume! but be sure to keep the grades up.  I have family members who are ex-feds, both doing real well now as a result of their experience there.

I was really thirsty for...crabs.

This resembles one of George Costanza's malapropisms on "Seinfeld."  laugh
