Who else is psyched up about the month of August???

My wife has dubbed it Crabapoloza b/c the crabs have size and are so tasty!!!

This is the home stretch for some w/ kids soon they'll be back in school and the trips out on the water will become fewer & fewer...For me, Sept & Oct are my months on the water fewer boats and more room to spread your elbows...

So who else is excited?

This should be the month. I'll find out this weekend. It would be nice to have more keepers than throw backs.Took off Mon. & Tues. Vac. days & plan on being out there most of that time.Know what you mean about elbow room ,after Labor Day the shore area will be given back to the residents and the waterways will be free of the Yahoo's that are out there now.

Yeah for the fall months!! I can't believe August is here already...just think...quoting from that old Staples commercial..."It's the most wonderful time, of the year" lol.  Kids go back to school, although this year, I really, really enjoyed them!  They've taken a liking to boating, clamming, crabbing and fishing..but they are most excited about crabbing!  I just want them to be excited about something!

When we lived in NJ, Sept and October were the best months for crabbing...hope the same goes for here!

It has been so hot and muggy, and rainy here for the past week...this weekend looks SPLENDID for crabbing..they are calling for the highs to be 75 and 79 both Saturday and Sunday!

This boat had BETTER be fixed  by then!
