A crab will eat Tops brand dog food
«

I have been trying to find a dried dog food that blue crabs will eat. I have found this one kind: Tops 21% protein dried dog food. When you first put it in the tank, they ignore it. Then after they get hungry, the next day, they will begrudgingly eat it...... I wanted to something to feed them that didn't require refridgeration.
Has anyone else come up with a dried food that they will eat?..... The Tops 21% does sink. I also tried a sinking farm catfish food, but they wouldn't touch it.

I know this is late, but ducks and geese will eat dog food as well, Ol' Roy sold at Walmart floats a bit longer and those birds love it.

Crabs will eat dried pasta. Just throw dried pasta in the crab box, after it soaks and softens up, crabs will eat it without hesitation.

Maybe that's because their(crabs) nickname is the "cockroach of the sea". You could probably cut the tip off your ear or finger and the crab would at least nibble it.

I carry my cell phone on my morning walks. I did come within 30 yards of a big bear, called my wife for help, but turned around and the bear was gone. I would hate the last thing my wife heard was my flesh being torn and bones crunching like a bag of potatoe chips. Oh and a scream like Micheal Jackson woooooo YIKES
